I climbed 278 stone rungs in the Hradschin in Prague. It was a wonderfull day and form there above i could see all those little tourists walking around My dad suddenly began piping, when he saw that i took a shot. So all those people where staring at the tower where we stood.
That is a quite spectacular shot! I remings me of the hp advert in the UK just now, but in a very good way. I love the colour and the clarity and the proportions and everything! Only comment I'd make is that the upper border should really be reduced so that the sides and top are the same width, and only the bottom is thicker.
but are they all looking at you, or what youre standing on? Its startling, the little pocket of humans, it makes all that stone seem immense and awfully big an undertaking to lay, and very cold and inhuman. The colro of the people makes them almost feel like confetti... like scarps pf paper blowing on the sidewalk. Its a sweet shot! -crashheart
Great shot. I agree with bananafactor in what they said about the stones graphic qualities and the variation that the humans add to it. Absotively. Congrats on a great photo and thanks for expending the effort to *get* the shot(and post it for us).
They seem to be looking right at you.
I like how the grid of the stone tiles gives a structure, but also variation and movement because of the variations of the stone color.
Also the contrast between the clearly structured floor and the people strolling around is nice and I like the light situation.
